Hello, person who I hope is a recruiter. You may notice upon your arrival here that the previous post on the blog section of my website dates back to 2022. It was a year of much studying, striving, and slow progress. I somehow managed to support myself with almost exclusively tabletop RPG design and translation work, and when I did do content writing, it was also about TTRPGs, but the goal of working in videogames was always my guiding moonlight.
I am happy to report that I have since achieved this goal. I currently spend most of my time in videogame narrative design, for clients such as Digital Cybercherries, Sunabi Studios, and more, tackling various genres (mechanics and fiction-wise) and project scopes with teams distributed all over the world. These projects are currently unannounced, but I’ll make sure to post them here when the time is right.
I have also contributed TTRPG writing to exciting crowdfunded games and supplements for various systems. The Kingdom of Keshanar managed to raise over 400k USD!
Something else I am proud of is that I recently had an essay of mine featured on Typebar Magazine, exploring the horror of losing or discarding one’s flesh in sci-fi stories like SOMA or the cyberpunk series through the lens of embodied cognition. Typerbar is one of the most interesting publications on the web for people who like to think deeply and expand their horizons, and I’m in tremendous company there.
I felt like this was a much-needed update to show the forward momentum in my career. Thanks for reading thus far. Now, would you kindly check out my portfolio?
