Hey there! I’m Leo, and this is where I show off my work. I’m fascinated by games where rich character backgrounds and meaningful choices come together to form cohesive, powerful narratives. I’m also not afraid to delve into darker subject matters, respectfully. My tabletop RPG players say I’m the type of gamemaster who “will tie in your backstory and make it hurt.”

This portfolio piece is a medieval fantasy NPC quest giver’s dialog tree, put together with Articy Draft and the Pixelcrushers Dialogue System for Unity (the same tools used to make the amazing Disco Elysium). You play as a newly arrived adventurer in the mangrove swamp town of Stiltgrove, and you’re looking for work. You can download a zoomable pdf with the entire branching dialogue in readable form from its itch.io page.
BEWITCHED is a horror interactive fiction made in Twine. In it, Eanflæd, a young Mercian girl in the IX century, takes it upon herself to seek out the dreaded witch Black Brida and bargain for her little brother’s life. An alternative version without the text distortion effects can be played here.
Think Bullet is a webtoon I wrote and art-directed (panel economy, fight choreography) in partnership with artist Luana Bibiano for the Call To Action contest. It’s a tale of estranged siblings with a weird power, meeting again on opposite sides of the law. The reunion goes from bittersweet to bloody.

Return to The Land is a dark fantasy short story (9 minute read) set in our contemporary world. It is told from the POV of a little boy who’s fleeing an abusive criminal father alongside his mother, who he barely knows. The journey back to his mother’s literal neck of the woods, where family members the boy has never met await, reveals a lot about her.
